Our name

The name LÚBANE originated from a deep connection with Amazigh culture. The lubane has been worn for centuries by Amazigh women throughout Morocco—a piece of jewelry that goes beyond adornment. Passed down from mother to daughter, it carries stories, memories, and identity.

Our inspiration finds its origins in southern Morocco, in the Souss Valley, where our roots lie. A landscape of warm light and quiet strength, where traditions are not explained, but lived. Here, lubane is part of everyday life—worn alongside silver jewelry, not to stand out, but because it belongs. Because it completes.

In the Souss, the lubane is also known as "lubane l7or"—pure lubane. For us, this symbolizes completeness: the realization that nothing needs to be added to feel whole. No excess, no noise—only tranquility, meaning, and modesty.
